Q: What is with the Stock Price Monitor?
A:  The Stock Price Monitor is a Windows application, which helps you to monitor frequently changed information on some web page, especially like stock price, foreign exchange rate ect. It's stay on the top or bottom of your desktop, and pull the information from internet continuously.


Q: What's the requirement of using Stock Price Monitor ?
A: It's a Windows Application, so you should have Windows Operating system ( for Windows 9x/ME/XP/2000/2003). Also you need Windows Internet explorer Installed ( IE 4.0 or high )
and of course you need a internet connection.

Q: Can I use Stock Price Monitor in my country ?

A: The traffic light is a red ,yellow or green spot on the upper left corner of the stock symbol. each time when the application refresh the content, it show the traffic light. Red means network is not available, the destination cannot be connected. Yellow means the destination can be connected, but the content retrieved is not correct. Green means the information retrieved is correct.

Q: What is the minimum refresh time that I can use?
A: You cab set to 10 seconds minimum

Q: What refresh rate should I use?
A: It depends what you need and network speed you have. if you have high speed internet connection, you can set to the fastest fresh rate. if you are using  a dial up connection, you'd better use a lower refresh rate.


Q: Can I monitor other information other than price?
A: Yes, you can also use it for volume , bid price or ask price ect.

Q: Can I monitor real time price ? How can I do that?
A: Yes, The Stock Price Monitor can be use to monitor real time stock information. because most

A: It's probably because the web site is down, or the format of the quote page is changed. You can either redo
the configuration or change a web site. 

Q: Why the prices shown on the watch bar are different from what I saw in the browser?
A: That's because it may not be refreshing  at that time.

Q :Why the prices shown on the watch bar are not correct after the market closed?
A That because some web site may have some extra message when after hours. that does not affect your result in working time.

A: You should us a web site which is stable, can be opened quickly and dose not change it's display format frequently.
